Of traditional pear form, the teapot exhibits signs of export product, such as the bronze encased lid edge, rim, and spout tip, the color of reddish-brown. Two character mark "Si Ting" below the handle.

此壺為經典梨形式壺，有外銷壺的特色，壺咀蓋沿保留著原配的包銅，壺把下思亭刻款。陸思亭，清初製陶人，生卒不詳，在朱泥壺中，孟臣，逸公，君德，思亭等，以上均為清代制壺高手，也正因他們名聲，大多人先後為後人所借名，并成為宜興朱泥小壺的代名詞，其中尤其以君德，思亭更為特定式樣的代名。
