The detailed statue depicts a young child, dressed in working clothes, seated on a long rectangular brick, studying Gongchun teapot placed on top of a stand, with right hand holding a scooper, and left hand supporting his leaning body. The back end of brick with artist signature and mark "Xu Xiutang". The statue was seen on page 358 of the book "Yi Tao Zhi Lu", published by Li You Ren Tao Yi Company, publish date Republic of China calendar year 84, June 1st.
