The table is set into a rectangular frame above low-relief carved waisted apron with taotie masks, chilong, and key-fret patterns, extending from taotie mask to hoof leg, each pair of legs with own pierce-carved panel depicting auspicious symbols such as five flying bats, two carps, clouds, and jade locks, the skirt low relief carved with chilong. Two drawers on one side. The chair’s rectangular backrest panel is pierce carved with flying dragons amidst clouds, with a pagoda against mandorla backdrop, connected to the chair with chilong in ring shape, the hand rests carved with mystical beasts prancing on top of ruyi clouds, the skirt with similar motif, the four cylindrical legs connected by additional horizontal bars.
