Of unusually large size, this statue of Padmasambhava is seated on a lotus base in lalitasana posture. His left hand holds a kapala and trident and right hand holds a vajra, and his face vividly shows an intense expression with furrowed brows. He wears a hat surmounted with a spear-like finial. The statue is partially gilded against brownish bronze ground. The gilt-bronze base is detachable. Qing Dynasty Period.
