This set includes eight pieces of miniature scholar’s treasures in a huanghuali tray, including a finely carved white jade table screen with low relief plum blossom mounted on a wood stand; a ceramic five-point brush rest modeled in the form of mountain range, covered with grayish-white glaze and suffused with crackles; a flattened cylindrical ivory paper weights delicately incised with flower spray patterns; a domed water pot covered with pale grayish and white-glaze while suffused with crackles; a shoushan soapstone carving of scholar’s rock in irregular shape and outlines; an ink stone of rectangular form with rounded corners, below a stylized ‘shou’ medallion amidst intricate low-relief key-fret and scrolling patterns in the model of a vessel’s flaring neck, flanked by two delicately carved elephant head, along with a wood box. Qing Dynasty period.
