Raised on three splayed legs, this vessel is cast around the sides with a band of archaic key-fret designs below a pair of upright posts that rise from the rim. The underside of the rim includes a nine character inscription 'Qian Long San Nian Zhong Dong Ji Dan Zhi', or made in Qianlong reign third year and the first day of November in Chinese calender. Qing Qianlong Dynasty Period.
