The container box crafted in the shape of a mythical toad in crouching form, complete with horns, ear, snout, and teeth. The lower body supported by four clawed legs, the sides depicting celestial deers running through clouds. The upper body's sides depicts flying three-clawed dragons on top of ocean wave. The glands inset with turquoise and lapis lazuli, on top of square shaped patterns on the skin. The interior lacquered in black. Republic period.


此蓋盒做工精細,蟾蜍刻畫生動古樸,並嵌綠松石,青金石
