Of flattened baluster form, this jade bottle raises from the ovoid base to the tapering neck and everted rim. It is elaborately decorated with carvings of magpie perching on the gnarled and blooming plum trees issuing from the base, all of natural colors and carved out of a single piece of jade stone. The piece is completed with a carved stone stand. Early Qing Dynasty period.
