Modelled in hexagonal form, the vase is finely painted with figures and flowers on each rectangular panel, including one panel with a fisherman resting on an arched branch above river with willow tree and moon in background, the reverse panel with a scholar wearing long robe reading a hand scroll under pine, with six character 'QIANLONG' mark above the scene, and the four side panels decorated with various flower containing vases, the cover further decorated with a figural scene. Qing Dynasty period.
