The white stone expertly carved as a smooth flattened and well-hollowed vase with archaistic scroll handles and a bud finial, the rim engraved with bands of key-fret pattern, its base emerging from water and rocky outcrops that support quails, with a thickly curling corn branch growing along the side of the vase. The stone is of semi-translucent of even white tone with areas of caramel inclusions worked into the overall design, fitted with carved zitan stand. Qing Dynasty period.
