Of rectangular form, the panel is delicately painted in bright enamels with a grasshopper resting on a peony flower in bloom with leafy branches underneath issuing from the garden rocks, with poetic inscription on the upper left corner and three seal marks. The panel is set within hardwood frame with reticulated pattern on the aprons. Late Qing/Republic period.
