Of compressed globular form, the body is finely carved with three writhing dragons emerging from the turbulent ocean waves that are highly detailed with incised lines, with the three tails forming the stubs and the curling waves forming the two handles, the domed cover topped with a powerful dragon with body twisted and mouth agape as finial. The stone is of even white tone with slight russet areas and streaks on the body.
