The Huanghuali painting table is of well proportioned, the top panel set into high rectangular frame above a waisted apron of arched, curvilinear form with beaded edge, supported on four corner legs of square section joined by stretchers with pronounced arch rising up to touch the apron, the legs terminating in hoof feet, the wood is of rich dark amber tone. Ming/Qing Dynasty period.
