Each of massive rectangular form and in bamboo sections, the upper chest with two square panel doors, the lower chest of the cabinet with rectangular panel doors, the doors opening to reveal the shelved interior. The panels are delicately carved in relief with buddhist lions descending with mouth holding the brocade tied with sash amidst auspicious clouds, all framed by key-fret border and clouds. Below this is a shaped apron further carved with similar decoration of buddhist lions.
