Of elegant S-shape, this ruyi scepter is elaborately carved through the red overlay to the opaque white glass with a flaming pearl flanked by two flying dragons in the head. The mid section is carved with a stylised character 'Shou', or longevity. It ends with a carved auspicious symbol of knot terminal and includes a yellow silk cord. Qing Dynasty period.
