Each Thangka is finely embroidered with gold threads on dark blue ground, depicting the central Bodhisattva seated in dhyanasana upon a lotus throne beneath trees and leaves. The bodhisattva is shown wearing dhoti and hands in different mutra, the face with benevolent expression, flanked by two attendants and surrounded by four deities to the front, the upper register with inscriptions in Chinese, Tibetan, Mongolian, and Manchurian, all enclosed by a border with Buddhist emblems and an outer border of dragons chasing flaming pearl amidst clouds. Qing Dynasty period.
