One is of rectangular form fitted in rosewood box, the inside carved with a recessed well and with one side finely surmounted by a dragon head amidst scrolling clouds. Another inkstone is of irregular oval form and carved one side with two grape leaves, the middle with a slightly graded surface pooling the water in a smaller rounded well.
