The compressed globular body raised on three legs, applied with a pair of upright handles, the body richly enameled with a continuous register of meandering lotus in blue, yellow, red, and white enamels against a turquoise-blue ground, with a keyfret border around the rim, fitted with a cover decorated with auspicious clouds and surmounted with three small gilt bronze mythical animals around the cover mouth. The base cast with four character Jing Tai mark. Ming Dynasty period.
