The domed top cover decorated with pair of confronting dragon and phoenix amidst ruyi-clouds, the sides painted with a band of triangular geometric pattern enclosing cloud motif, the lower body similarly decorated band of with dragon and phoenix, underside inscribed with six character Wanli mark in underglaze blue.

盒呈方勝形，子母口，上下結合緊密。該盒釉質亮白如玉，胎體制作精細。通體以五彩為飾，繪“龍鳳紋”，設色古雅，畫面筆致工整，填色濃艷，紋飾布局繁密。“大明萬歷年制”款識。 来源：洛杉磯私人藏家提供
