Qing Dynasty period. Modelled as a lotus leaf with sides swept up and furling at the edges forming a basin, joined to a similarly carved lotus leaf hollowed out into a smaller vessel, all supported on reeds tucked under the washer and issuing stems wrapped around the sides of the washer.

此件筆洗以兩個大小不一的荷葉作捲起狀以飾水洗，周圍蓮蓬、枝蔓環繞，盡顯生機勃勃之象，表面略有小皮色，更是增添些許韻味。整體造型別致，用料碩大，材質上乘，工藝精湛，製作考究，非一般工匠所為，包漿厚潤老到。
