This amazingly carved ivory Guanyin figure has a creamy yellow patina, full sized, curved naturally, with stand; her headdress is pierce carved with a seated Buddha at center; carrying a serene smile, she raised her right hand slightly, holding a willow branch pointing downwards, while leaving left hand down, hanging onto a basket of lotus flowers; next to her is a young boy, smiling and praying towards Guanyin; on the other side, a phoenix is standing with wings closed, and carrying a scroll in its beak. Bottom is carved as a lotus pad, placed on top of a wooden base.
